The Strike Behavior of a Congenitally Blind Rattlesnake
作者:KENNETH V. KARDONG AND STEPHEN P. MACKESSY, De- partment of Zoology, Washington State University, Pull- man, Washington 99164-4236, USA.
(Noble and Schmidt, 1937; Bullock and Cowles, 1952)。 (Schroeder and Loop, 1976; Terashima and Goris, 1977; Gruberg et al., 1979; Newman et al., 1980; Meszler et al., 1981; Schroeder, 1981),该处也是由眼睛传来的视觉信息的接收器。
目前已有许多关于响尾蛇觅食行为一般特征的文献(Dullemeijer, 1961; Naul- leau, 1965; Kardong, 1975, 1982, 1986b; Estep et al., 1981; Chiszar and Radcliffe, 1976; Chiszar et al., 1982; Duvall et al., 1980; Gillingham and Clark, 1981; Scud- der et al., 1983),尤其是北太平洋响尾蛇(the northern Pacific rattlesnake)(Kardong, 1986a),这些研究提供了对攻击行为的基本详述、以及其他定性描述。
Strike frequency(strikes/trials):
Time-to-death:
Released:
(Posterior)
